Open an insight, pick a KPI from the list and see its numbers right away. We have redesigned Insights and added new features: • Find any KPI in the metric list on the left, with a search to jump straight to it. • See the key figures at a glance: sum, mean, median, min, max, count, first and last value. • Pick a time range, either a named range like Last 30 days or a custom range of your choice, and group by day, week, month, quarter or year. • Filter the result by the insight's own dimensions, for example, one market or one channel. Combine conditions with All match or Any match. • Switch between chart and table, and between line and bars. The view is meant as a quick check. Nothing you change here is saved. To keep a view, build a widget on a dashboard or chat with Resi. 👉 You can find this in Data Sources → Insights. Find more information here. Reorder and Find Series Faster Working with several KPIs (series) in one widget is now quicker in the widget editor. • Reorder series in a dedicated dialog. Drag a series to its new position, or move it with its arrows. Nothing changes until you click Apply order. • Jump to a new series right after you add it. The widget editor scrolls to it, so you can start editing straight away. 👉 You can find this in the widget editor. Click the arrow icon next to Add series, or open the three dots menu and choose Reorder series. Find more information here. Roles and Permissions: See Who Can Do What Every space has three clear roles: Reader, User and Admin. A new overview shows exactly what each role can do. • Readers view dashboards and widgets, read AI summaries and change time ranges and favorites just for themselves. • Users can also create, edit and delete dashboards and widgets, create and edit projects, use and publish dashboard templates and chat with Resi. • Admins can do everything, including managing space settings and accessing the audit log and exports. Actions you can’t use are grayed out, with a note explaining why. 👉 You can find the overview in Settings → Space → Roles and permissions. Your own role is shown at the top. To change a role, ask a space admin. Find more information here. Profile Pictures: Put a Face to Your Name Add a profile picture to your account. It appears next to your name wherever you show up in Indicate, across all your spaces. This makes it easier to see who created a dashboard or who works on it. • Upload a PNG or JPG of up to 1 MB. • Replace or remove your picture at any time. 👉 You can find this in Settings → Account → Profile. Find more information here. Stay in the Loop We're building Indicate with you, and there's always more on the way. Take a look at our changelog anytime and join us on LinkedIn to be the first to hear what's new. Questions, ideas, or feedback? We'd love to hear from you, so just get in touch. The Indicate Team --- ### [Organizations and Brand Colors](https://support.indicate-data.com/changelog/2026-10-07-organizations-and-brand-colors) (2026-10-07) Organizations for Multi-property: Manage All Your Spaces in One Place Organizations are a new level above your spaces. Hotel groups, chains, and agencies can manage all their spaces under one roof. Every space can belong to exactly one organization. • Give your organization a name and a banner that appears at the top of the sidebar in every space. • See all your organization's spaces, along with their status and plan. • Manage organization members and their roles. • Find your spaces grouped by organization in the space switcher. 👉 You can find this in Settings → Organization. Only organization members can see these settings, and only organization admins can edit them. Learn more here. Organization membership and space access are separate. To give someone access to a space, invite them via Space Settings → Team. Learn more here. Set Your Own Color Palettes as Brand Colors or Organization Colors Define the color palettes your team and Resi use in charts and dashboards. Set them up for a single space, for your whole organization, or both. A hotel group can define its corporate colors once, and every property's dashboards can use them. • Create several named palettes and pick them in the widget editor next to the built-in ones. • Organization palettes appear in every space of your organization. • Set one palette as your primary palette. Dashboards and Resi then use it by default. • Delete a palette at any time. Your charts keep their colors. 👉 You can find space color palettes in Settings → Space → Brand. Find more information here. 👉 You can find organization color palettes in Settings → Organization → Brand. Learn more here. Table Widgets: Sticky Footer, Column Sources and CSV Export • Pin a table's total and mean to a sticky footer. • See the source behind every table column. • Export a table as CSV, including the comparison columns. 👉 Find out more here. New Widget Features: Duplicate, Copy, Delete and Filter Working with widgets is quicker, and empty widgets now explain themselves. • Duplicate a widget, copy it to another dashboard or delete it. • See what a widget is filtered to without opening the widget editor. • See which series returned no data, which sources are retired and the description of every KPI. 👉 To duplicate, copy or delete a widget, click the three dots in its top right corner. To see its filters, hover over the filter label in its top left corner. Find more information here. AI Background Generation: Keep Working While Dashboards Build Dashboards and widgets generate in the background. Building a dashboard usually takes under a minute, and you can leave the page while Resi works. The board holds still while a widget is being built. --- ### [Widget Designer Redesign, New Home Screen](https://support.indicate-data.com/changelog/2026-10-01-widget-designer-redesign-new-home-screen) (2026-10-01) New Widget Designer We rebuilt the entire widget designer from the ground up. You get a lot of new functionality. Building a widget feels faster and clearer from the first click. AI Usage: Higher Budget and New Models Resi, our new AI agent, has been so well received that we are raising the included AI budget per space. Thank you for all the positive feedback! 😍 Starting today, October 1, every space on Core plans and above gets a free AI allowance of $10 per 30 days. Any single person can still use up to $10 of AI per 30 days across all their spaces (these limits are subject to change.) You can now also choose from two new Claude AI models: • Sonnet 5.5 • Opus 5.5 Review your AI usage by clicking the icon above your profile picture. You can also check your usage in Settings → Billing → AI usage. 👉 Find more information here. AI Widgets: Create and Edit from a Prompt Build and change a widget by describing what you want in plain language. When you edit with AI, the prompt is prefilled with the widget's own sources, so you refine without repeating yourself. Until now, you had to rebuild the entire dashboard with AI to edit a single widget. 👉 You can find this in the widget builder and via the small colorful sparkle icon ✨ on every widget. Temporarily Adjust Time Range and Granularity on Dashboards and Widgets Quickly change the time range and time grouping (day, week, month,…) for a whole dashboard or a single widget. Your change is temporary: click the X to reset it. To change the time range permanently, use the widget designer. 👉 For a whole dashboard, click Overrides in the dashboard header and then Pick a time range. For a single widget, use the time range and grain in the top right corner of the widget. New Home Screen and more Dashboard Features Your dashboards are now easier to share and manage. • Set any dashboard as your space's home screen. • See a dashboard's author in its header. • Edit or add a dashboard's description. 👉 You can set the home screen in Analytics → Home and learn more about dashboards here. New Comparisons and Guide Lines Reference lines are now called guide lines and are easier to set up. • Add a comparison by name, including against a guide line. • Set a comparison's polarity from the series row. • Use guide line presets, each named after the level it draws. Want to See All Our New Features? Here is the video from our last changelog: 👉 📹 VIDEO RELEASE UPDATE (German only) --- ### [Meet the new Indicate](https://support.indicate-data.com/changelog/2026-09-10-meet-the-new-indicate) (2026-09-10) 100+ New Features Released This is a big one. We rebuilt large parts of Indicate and added sooo many new features that we made a whole video to walk you through it. We are genuinely happy with how it turned out, and we cannot wait for you to try it. There is far too much to fit into a single changelog, so we will introduce the new features one changelog at a time. We start here, with one of the features we are most excited about. 👉 Here is the video with all new functionalities 📹 VIDEO RELEASE UPDATE (German only) Chat with your Data: Ask Questions, Get Answers You can now chat directly with your data in Indicate. Until now, AI helped you build dashboards and write summaries. Now you can go further and simply ask. Type a question in plain language and get an answer straight from your own data, without building a widget or a dashboard first. It is the fastest way to check a number, explore a trend, or follow up on something you just saw. • Ask questions in everyday language. • Get answers grounded in your connected data. • Follow up in the same conversation to dig deeper. 👉 You can find the chat in the left menu right at the top. AI Usage While the promotion runs, every space on Core plans and above gets a free AI allowance of $5 per 30 days so that you can try the new AI features. Any single person can use up to $10 of AI per 30 days across all their spaces. Review your AI usage by clicking the icon above your profile picture. You can also check your usage in Settings → Billing → AI usage. 👉 Find more information here. AI Models Choose which AI model handles each prompt, and see which model produced what. You control the trade-off between speed and depth on every request, whether you are chatting with your data, generating a dashboard, changing a widget, or writing a summary. --- ### [Let AI build your dashboards, Merge data in tables, Dashboard descriptions, YouTube Connector](https://support.indicate-data.com/changelog/2026-08-28-let-ai-build-your-dashboards-merge-data-in-tables-dashboard-descriptions-youtube-connector) (2026-08-28) Meet AI in Indicate Indicate AI can now build, analyse, and explain dashboards for you. Describe what you want and let the AI do the heavy lifting. • Generate a dashboard from a prompt: Describe the dashboard you want in any language and Indicate AI builds the widgets, their titles, their settings, and their layout. An optional source picker lets you name which data sources to build from for a noticeably better result. 👉 Find more information here. • Summarize a dashboard: Generate an AI summary of the whole dashboard. The summary sits in a collapsible panel above the board. • Choose the preferred AI language per space: Each space picks the preferred language the AI answers. Change the AI output language in the space Settings → General. This steers the AI output, not the interface language. • Select the AI model per space: Each space picks its AI model in Settings → General. ⭐ Free AI Allowance During the Promotion While the promotion runs, every space on Core plans and above gets a free AI allowance of $5 per 30 days so that you can try the new AI features. Any single person can use up to $10 of AI per 30 days across all their spaces. Both allowances and their reset dates are visible on the usage gauge and the Usage page. Find more information here. Merge data from multiple sources in table widgets Widgets now join data from multiple data sources on a shared column, such as date, campaign name, or country. This already worked for every widget type except tables. We have now extended it to tables as well. One thing this unlocks: you can evaluate campaigns across different data source systems, as long as they share the same campaign name within their original system. Tip: setting up your data cleanly in the source system makes this kind of analysis much easier. Dashboard Descriptions: Shown Inline in the Header Dashboards now show their description inline, right next to the dashboard name in the header. Long descriptions are shortened with the full text available on hover. 👉 You can change and edit the description in the ⋮ Dashboard Menu. YouTube Analytics Integration: Now Live The YouTube Analytics integration is live for all. Connect your channel and track your YouTube data in Indicate. 👉 You can find it under Engineering → Marketplace → YouTube Analytics Fixes and Improvements • Bar chart values now display horizontally so they are easier to read. • Improved dashboard responsiveness so dashboards now adapt more smoothly across screen sizes. --- ### [Template Marketplace, New Meta Connector, New Dashboard Grid](https://support.indicate-data.com/changelog/2026-08-17-template-marketplace-new-meta-connector-new-dashboard-grid) (2026-08-17) Template Marketplace: Ready Made Dashboards Browse a library of prebuilt dashboards and apply one in a few clicks instead of building every dashboard from scratch. Pick a template that fits your use case and add it to your space. The marketplace is also open for your own work: • Publish your own dashboards to the marketplace for others to use. • Or create internal groups, for example for an agency or for several properties, and share dashboards only within your own spaces instead of publicly. You can find the Template Marketplace under Analytics → Templates. Meta Ads Connector: New Connection and New Metrics The Meta connector has been rebuilt on a new data model and API with a wider set of metrics and dimensions. The previous Meta connector (Facebook Marketing) is now deprecated and will be switched off on November 1. You can no longer create a new connection with the old Facebook Marketing connector. Please connect the new Meta Ads connector instead. We have already migrated all existing connections to the new Meta Ads connector for you, so your data keeps syncing without interruption. Please verify that everything works as it should for your new Meta Ads connections. 👉 If you have built dashboards with the Facebook Marketing connector, please switch your dashboard sources to the new Meta Ads connector before November 1. To do this, swap the data source on each dashboard to the new Meta Ads connector. Historic data stays available and readable. Re:Guest Communication Connector: More Metrics The Re:Guest connector is now deprecated and will be switched off on November 1. Its replacement is the Re:Guest Communication connector. You can no longer create a new connection with the old Re:Guest connector. Please connect the Re:Guest Communication connector instead. Please migrate all existing connections to the Re:Guest Communication connector, so your data keeps syncing without interruption. 👉 If you have built dashboards with the Re:Guest connector, please switch your dashboard sources to the Re:Guest Communication connector before November 1. The Re:Guest Communication connector includes everything from the previous Re:Guest connector, plus 15 additional KPIs. New: Does Not Contain Filter Filters now support a "Does not contain" option. Use it to exclude records whose text field holds a given value, for example, hide every campaign with "Test" in its name. You can find it on your dashboards by clicking on a widget, then navigating to the right sidebar (widget designer) under Advanced Options → Data Source & Filter tab. Click on the little booklet icon 📖 to see all filter options in a dropdown, or type whatever value should not be included. Learn more about filters here. New Dashboard Grid: Smoother Layout Dashboards now run on a new grid for placing, moving, and resizing widgets. Improvements • Combo box search inputs accept spaces, making searches easier • Activation flow adds a privacy consent checkbox. • CSV imports support files up to 200MB. --- ### [Claude & ChatGPT Connection, Custom Agents](https://support.indicate-data.com/changelog/2026-06-22-claude-chatgpt-connection-custom-agents) (2026-06-22) Bring Indicate Into Claude and ChatGPT Connecting Indicate to Claude and other chatbots has been possible since last year. Now there are three big updates: • connecting your chatbot is easier than before • ChatGPT works too • and you can reach Indicate via your chatbot from your phone. You set up the connection once and then ask about your data right inside the AI chatbot you already use. You can find Apps inside your Indicate space under "Chat with your data" in the left navigation bar. Ask Your Data Anything, From Any Device Once connected, the AI does the heavy lifting: • It moves through your data in seconds and answers all the questions you have. • It spots anomalies on its own, so you catch problems early. • It pulls from your different data sources and gives you clear action recommendations. • It scales across your properties, so you can ask about one or all of them at once. Mobile: Reach Your Data On the Go Open Claude or ChatGPT on your phone and Indicate is already connected there. Ask a question right in the app and get your numbers and recommendations on the go. Easier to Connect Connecting Indicate to your chatbot is now much simpler than before. Here is how it works: • Go to "Chat with your data" and click the + Connect App button. • Pick Claude or ChatGPT and give the connection a name. • Decide whether the app connects to all the Indicate spaces you are a member of, or just the one where you create the app connection. • Click Create App. Only admins can do this, as you need to subscribe to an add on. • Indicate creates a Client ID and Client secret for you. • Open Claude or ChatGPT and use those credentials to add Indicate there. • Done. Now you can ask about your Indicate data right inside the chat. --- ### [Home Screen, Connect Links, Redesigned Sidebar, Chat with Your Data, Onboarding](https://support.indicate-data.com/changelog/2026-06-18-home-screen-connect-links-redesigned-sidebar-chat-with-your-data-onboarding) (2026-06-18) New Home Screen Your Analytics Home screen has been completely redesigned. You now see everything that matters the moment you log in, from a live overview of your data to the items that need you right now. • Four overview cards at the top show your current Pipelines, Dashboards, Data products, and KPI collections. • A "Needs attention" section surfaces failing pipelines right away, so you can act fast. • Recent dashboards and recent pipelines give you one click access to what you worked on last. • Your data products and KPI collections are listed directly on Home. • Your onboarding tutorial lives here too, so you can pick up your setup at any time. You can find the new layout on your Home screen in the Analytics section. Connect Links: Let Someone Else Connect a Data Source for You You no longer need the credentials yourself to connect a data source. Generate a single use connect link and send it to the person who has access, for example a client, a colleague, an external agency, or the vendor themselves. They connect the integration for you in a privacy compliant way, without ever sharing their login with you. • Generate a one time link for any data source, then copy it or have it sent straight to a recipient by email. • Add an optional note if you want to add context or extra information. • Every invitation comes with a friendly intro text automatically, and you can decide whether PII data is enabled or not (depending on the data source). • The "Connect invites" view lists every data source you have shared by link, so you can keep track of what is still pending, resend or revoke an invitation. You can find "Generate connect link" in the Marketplace under Engineering → Marketplace. Select the data source you would like to connect to get started. Or add a new data source from many places in the app, including the integration page, the dashboard when you add a new widget, and the Widget Builder. Mobile: More of Indicate Data on the Go Indicate is now available on mobile. You can review and manage your entire workspace from your phone, not just from your desktop. Almost every action you know from desktop now works while you are away from your computer. • Search your databases directly on mobile. • Review your dashboards and KPIs wherever you are. • Manage and adjust your workspace on the go. You can access everything by logging into Indicate on your phone with your normal login, the same app you already use. Shared Data Products: Invitations Now Visible When someone shares a data product with you or a new team member is invited, you now see it directly on Home in the new "Awaiting you" section. Accept or decline a shared data product in one click, or open "Manage" for team invites. You can find pending invitations under "Awaiting you" on your Home screen. Redesigned Sidebar: Grouped and Collapsible Navigation The left navigation has been reorganized and is now collapsible. Collapse it for more screen space or expand it when you want the labels, and it adapts to smaller screens. • Your core tools are grouped together: Analytics, Flying KPIs, and Chat with your data. • Engineering and Data Studio now live at the bottom of the sidebar. • Collapse or expand the sidebar at any time, and it stays responsive on smaller screens. Chat with Your Data: Guided Assistant Setup Connecting an AI assistant to your workspace is now guided step by step. Create an agent token, pick your client, and follow the setup to ask questions about your data in plain language, no SQL required. • Choose your client: VS Code, Claude Desktop, or Claude Code. • Select your operating system, macOS or Windows, and get the matching setup steps. • Copy a ready to paste configuration for the Indicate MCP server. • Manage your agent tokens, with status, scope, and activity, all in one place. You can find Chat with your data in the left navigation. Get Started: Guided Onboarding Checklist New to Indicate? A "Get started" checklist now walks you through setting up your workspace step by step and shows your progress as you go. • Connect a data source • Create a project • Invite your team You can find the checklist at the top of your Analytics Home screen until all steps are done. New Terminology: Clearer Names Across the App We renamed several core concepts so they are easier to understand. The functionality stays the same, only the names changed. • Data Cube is now KPI. • Data Context is now KPI Collection. • Connections is now MyDataSources. • Connectors now live in the Marketplace. Comparisons: Reference Key as a Dynamic Dropdown Setting a comparison to a reference line is now much faster. When you compare a metric against a reference line, the Reference Key appears as a dynamic dropdown with automatic suggestions, so you no longer have to copy and paste it by hand. We also unified the wording for the reference field across the Widget Builder, Advanced Metric Settings, and Comparisons. You can find this in the Widget Builder under Comparisons, when you select compare to a Reference. Of course you need to create a reference line first before it appears in the dropdown. In App Support: Help Without Leaving Indicate You can now get help directly inside the product. Browse the docs, and submit feature requests without switching tools. Feature requests are connected to our development workflow, so you get notified automatically once your request is shipped. You can find this by tapping the small “?” icon in the lower-right corner of the app. Filter: Not Equal To Filters now support a "not equal to" operator. For example, show all bookings except those from a specific channel. You can find this in your filter options in the widget builder. Pie Charts: Show Labels Pie charts have a new "Show Labels" option that displays value labels directly on the chart. You can find this option in your widget settings for pie charts in the widget builder.. Re:Guest Communication Integration: MPE Account Support Re:Guest Communication Integration now supports MPE accounts. Advanced Metric Settings: Simplified The Advanced Metric Settings are now easier to navigate. The "Appearance" tab was merged into "Formatting". --- ### [Flying KPIs, Skill Marketplace, Filter: Contains, Calendar update](https://support.indicate-data.com/changelog/2026-06-02-flying-kpis-skill-marketplace-filter-contains-calendar-update) (2026-06-02) Flying KPIs: Automated Dashboard Reports Schedule automated dashboard reports and receive them directly in your inbox. Select any dashboard, choose your preferred interval (Daily, Weekly, or Monthly), add your recipients, and optionally include an AI-generated summary of key insights. You can find Flying KPIs in the left navigation under the rocket icon. Contains Filter Filters now support a "contains" operator for matching partial values across text fields. For example, find all campaigns with "Newsletter" in their name. You can find the filter option in your widget designer advanced metric settings. Skill Marketplace Our Skill Marketplace is now public. Each skill can be used independently and all three are free. The AI skills cover the full lifecycle of a data file: • data-review: inspect a raw export and get a tiered report on how to clean it for your data warehouse. • data-transform: turn that file into clean, warehouse-ready tables via a rerunnable script. • metric-creator: build DSL-compatible metric and dimension definitions on top of clean data. The metric-creator is especially useful if you want to build your own metrics directly in Cube Studio. The data-review and data-transform skills are the right choice when you import your own data into Indicate and want to clean it up beforehand. All three skills work with any AI setup, no matter which AI client you use. You can find the Skill Marketplace and setup instructions here: https://github.com/insanetic/data-max/tree/main Calendar: New Navigation Options The calendar has three improvements: • A house icon brings you back to today's date in one click. • New year navigation in the top right lets you jump between years directly. • And a new "All Time" option lets you see your full date range at once. Re:Guest Communication Integration: New Metrics Four new metrics are now available for Re:Guest Communication users: • Avg. Booking Rate • Avg. Click Rate • Avg. Interaction Rate • Total Reservations --- ## Docs ### Start here → #### [Start here](https://support.indicate-data.com/docs/start-here/start-here) What Indicate is, two paths to get started (setting up a space, or joining one), and how to find your way around. --- #### [Home page](https://support.indicate-data.com/docs/start-here/home-page) What the Home page of a space shows: the onboarding for admins, the Resi introduction, the home dashboard and who can set it, data sources that need attention, invitations awaiting you, and shortcuts. --- #### [Connect your first data source](https://support.indicate-data.com/docs/start-here/connect-your-first-data-source) Step 1 of the setup: connect your PMS or another system, let the first sync run, and get your first Insight. --- #### [Build your first dashboard](https://support.indicate-data.com/docs/start-here/build-your-first-dashboard) Step 2 of the setup: let Resi build a dashboard from a description, install a template, or build it by hand. --- #### [Create a new space](https://support.indicate-data.com/docs/start-here/create-a-new-space) Learn how to create a new space in Indicate, choose your subscription tier and billing cycle, and enter the billing information needed to activate it. --- #### [Your Hotel is a Data Company](https://support.indicate-data.com/docs/start-here/your-hotel-is-a-data-company) Modern hotels generate enormous amounts of data every day, but most of it sits scattered across disconnected systems, invisible and unused.
