Billing covers everything you pay for in Indicate: your subscription plan, your monthly token usage, and the billing address that appears on your invoices. You manage all of it under Settings → Billing.
Billing is set per space. Each space has its own plan, its own token allowance and its own invoice.
You want to check how many tokens you have used in the current billing period
You need to know whether extra usage will be charged on top of your plan
Your company name, VAT ID or address changed and future invoices must reflect it
You want to check your current plan or your current billing period.
Under Settings → Billing → Current Plan, you can view your active subscription, track your current billing period, and see a full breakdown of your token usage for the month.
Indicate uses a token-based billing model. Tokens are consumed whenever data is processed, for example when running a pipeline or querying the API.
Each plan includes a monthly token allowance. As long as your usage stays within this allowance, no additional charges apply. If you exceed the included tokens, the additional usage is billed on top of your base subscription at the end of the billing period.
The Usage breakdown table shows your token consumption for the current billing period. For each category (e.g. Pipelines, Access Tokens), you can see:
Field | What it means |
|---|---|
Included tokens | How many tokens are part of your plan, with a progress bar showing how much you have used |
Billed tokens | Any usage above your included allowance |
Gross amount | The total value of your token consumption |
Billed amount | What you actually pay, meaning gross minus included tokens |
This gives you full transparency over your plan usage at any point during the billing period.
Your billing address is used for all invoices and receipts. It is stored under Settings → Billing → Billing Address.

My invoice shows the wrong company name.
Update Legal entity name under Settings → Billing → Billing Address. The change applies to future invoices. For a correction to an invoice already issued, contact our support team.
My VAT ID is not accepted.
Enter the VAT ID in full international format, including the country prefix, and without spaces. Check that it matches the legal entity name exactly.
I was billed more than my plan price.
You exceeded your included token allowance. Open Settings → Billing → Current Plan and check the Billed tokens column in the usage breakdown to see which category caused the extra usage.
Invoices are going to the wrong person.
Set Billing email to the address that should receive invoices. It can differ from Contact email and from the address you log in with.
