Once Indicate is connected to Langdock, you can ask about your data in everyday language and get an answer straight away. For example:
"What was our occupancy last week?"
"Which booking channel brought the most revenue in July?"
"How did our campaigns perform last month compared to the month before?"
Langdock reads the answer directly from your Indicate data. You do not need to build a report or know any formulas.
You set this up once. It takes about 5 minutes, only copy and paste.
You can log in to Indicate and open your space.
You are an Admin in Indicate.
You can log in to Langdock with an account that is allowed to add integrations. If you are not sure, ask whoever manages your Langdock account.
Have both open in your browser, in two tabs: Indicate in one, Langdock in the other. You will copy details from one to the other.
Is this safe?
The connection only lets Langdock read your data to answer your questions. Nothing in Indicate is changed. Treat the key (Agent Token) you copy from Indicate like a password: do not share it or send it by email.
You will copy two details from Indicate and paste them into Langdock. Then you create a Langdock agent that uses them.
The two details are:
In plain words | The exact name on screen | What it looks like |
|---|---|---|
The address of your data | MCP Server URL |
|
The API key | Agent Token | Token you receive in Indicate |
In Indicate, open your space and go to Chat with your data in your left sidebar.

Find the MCP Server URL section, open it and click Copy. This is the address of your data.

On the same page, scroll to the Agent Tokens section and click + New token.

Under Token name, give it a name you will recognise later, for example Langdock.

Under Assign to user, select the person from the drop-down this key belongs to. The person or user must be a member of the space.

Under Access scope, select whether the Token gets access to only the space the assigned user is currently in (single space) or all the spaces this person has access to (multi-space).

Check the toggle to acknowledge the additional billing. Each agent token is billed additionally.

Click Create token.

A new popup window opens. This is your API key. Your API Key shines in bright green. It is shown only once, so copy it before you close the window.
The API key (Agent Token) is shown only once. Copy it straight away when Indicate shows it. If you close the window without copying it, you cannot see it again and you will have to create a new one.
Now switch to your Langdock tab. In the left sidebar, navigate to Integrations.

Top right, click Add integration.

Select Connect remote MCP.
In the box Server URL, paste the MCP Server URL you copied in step 2 from Indicate: https://industry.indicate-data.io/mcp
Under Authentication method, select API Key.

Click Create.
A window called Set up your New Integration connection opens. Under Name, type for example Indicate.
Under API Key, navigate back to Indicate and paste your API key from step 9, then click Save.

Optional: Select API Key and X-API-KEY & Beare (Legacy) as your authentication method if Langdock has not automatically selected.

Click List Server Features. Langdock now loads from Indicate which actions it is allowed to use. Select the tools and resources you want, then click Save.

Under available actions, tick Choose all. Do the same under MCP-Ressourcen. The integration now carries a name here: Indicate Metric Explorer.

Top right, click Save. Your MCP server is now available in agents, chats, and workflows.

If you want to access the MCP you need to connect it to an Agent in Langdock. For full details, use the Langdock docs.
In the left sidebar, click Agents.

Then Create agent.

Click Go to editor to skip the chat and open the configuration editor directly.

Next to Integrations, click + Add Integration and select Indicate Metric Explorer.

Click the agent name at the top and give it a clear name.
Click Create, then Use Agent. A chat window opens.
Ask the agent: "Which Indicate space do you have access to?" The agent answers with the name of your space. That means the connection works.
Now ask a real question, for example: "How many bookings did we get last month?"
To better access the agent in Langdock, you can pin it:
The agent you want to pin in the library or search results
Click the pin icon on the agent card
The agent is now pinned to your personal list. Pinned agents appear in a dedicated section for quick access. This is personal to your account, so each user can customize their own pinned agents without affecting others.
The more specific your question, the better the answer. Mention the time period ("last week", "July") and the number you care about ("occupancy", "ADR", "revenue by channel").
Langdock is not built by Indicate. Langdock can change its menus, button names and screens at any time, so what you see may differ slightly from this article. Please find Langdock specific information here.
Can I connect Langdock to more than one hotel or space?
Yes. Create one key per space in Indicate and one integration per space in Langdock. Give each one a different name (like Beach Hotel and City Hotel).
Does this cost extra?
Yes. Every agent token is billed as an additional seat. You can see the current prices on the pricing page.
I closed the window and lost my key. What now?
No problem. Go back to Chat with your data in Indicate, create a new token, and paste it into Langdock. The old token loses access immediately after revoking or creating a new one.
Where do I find the data address (MCP Server URL) again?
In Indicate, open Chat with your data, find the MCP Server URL section, and click Copy. Or copy here: https://industry.indicate-data.io/mcp
How do I disconnect Langdock?
Two ways: delete the integration in Langdock, or revoke the token in Indicate under Chat with your data → Agent Tokens from its ⋮ menu. Revoking the token also stops the extra billing after the current billing cycle.
Will Langdock change anything in my data?
No. The connection is for reading and answering questions only.
Listing the server functions shows nothing or an error.
Check the address in Server URL. It must end in /mcp and must not have a space at the start or the end. Then check that you pasted the whole key, with no missing characters.
The agent says it has no access to any space.
Your key has no user attached, or the attached person has no access to that space. In Indicate, open the token's ⋮ menu, select Edit, and choose the right person under Assign to user.
